About Us

Our Mission
The Ausomely Different Foundation is dedicated to supporting families raising children with Autism and Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Our mission is to bridge the gap between diagnosis and access to essential resources, easing the stress and uncertainty families face. Through our initiatives, we strive to create moments of joy for caregivers, offer education and practical tools for safety and well being, and foster understanding to build a more inclusive supportive community for individuals with Autism and other IDDs.

Our Vision
Our vision at the Ausomely Different Foundation is a world where every family touched by autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) feels supported, understood, and empowered.
We see a future where accessing resources and navigating challenges is seamless, where families find both joy and education along their journey, and where individuals with autism and IDDs are celebrated for their unique abilities.
Through our workshops, events, and advocacy efforts, we aim to foster a compassionate, inclusive society where every individual thrives, and caregivers feel equipped with the tools for safety, growth, and joy.

Our Story
The Ausomely Different Foundation was born out of a journey of both challenge and purpose. Camille Joy, a devoted wife and mother, wears many hats—entrepreneur, podcaster, advocate, and, above all, a beacon of hope for families facing the unique journey of raising children with special needs. Camille’s personal experience with her youngest son, Maison, who was born with congenital heart disease and later diagnosed with autism, transformed her life and ignited her mission.
In the early days, Camille struggled to navigate a world with limited resources and guidance, often feeling overwhelmed and isolated. However, she refused to let these obstacles silence her voice. Over the years, Camille built a powerful social media platform, which connected her with parents from around the globe. Through countless conversations, she listened, learned, and became inspired by the strength and resilience shared by parents like herself.
These interactions, combined with her own experiences, fueled Camille’s desire to make a tangible difference. The Ausomely Different Foundation was created to provide the support Camille once longed for, offering families the tools and community they need to thrive. Driven by transparency, genuine care, and a heart for service, Camille and The Ausomely Different Foundation are here to eliminate the loneliness and confusion for families navigating this journey, providing not only resources but also moments of joy along the way.
